How you'll make an impact

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of complex Active Directory environments, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.

  • Provide expert-level consultancy on all aspects of Active Directory, including but not limited to AD DS, AD FS, AD RMS, and Group Policy.

  • Conduct comprehensive AD security assessments and implement remediation plans to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

  • Lead domain consolidation and migration projects, including forest and domain restructures, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.

  • Develop and maintain Active Directory disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement AD-integrated solutions that meet client requirements.

  • Provide technical guidance on LDAP, Kerberos, and NTLM authentication protocols within Active Directory.

  • Mentor and guide junior consultants on Active Directory best practices and advanced troubleshooting techniques.

  • Stay current with the latest advancements in Active Directory and related technologies, and incorporate this knowledge into client solutions.

  • Attend P1 & P2 (Priority 1 and 2) incidents and take end-to-end ownership of the incident resolution process.

  • Perform thorough root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.

  • Identify and analyze repetitive incidents, develop strategies to mitigate these issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent recurrence.

  • Maintain and update incident management documentation, including playbooks and standard operating procedures.

  • Implement and manage patch management processes for Windows and Linux systems to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.

  • Apply patches and updates to ensure system integrity and compliance with security policies.

  • Collaborate with incident management and support teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of critical issues.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT consultancy, with a focus on Active Directory architecture, implementation, and management.

  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex Active Directory infrastructures.

  • Strong expertise in AD DS, AD FS, AD RMS, Group Policy, and AD-integrated applications.

  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell).

  • Excellent understanding of network protocols, security, and authentication mechanisms related to Active Directory.

  • Experience with AD migrations, consolidations, and security assessments.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.
